WORKERS at a Weston-super-Mare office block have been allowed back into their offices after being evacuated following a bomb scare.
The office block at Worle Parkway was evacuated shortly after 2pm after someone rang the offices making threats.
The office block is understood to be the base of three local businesses SGS, Sita UK and Fiveways.
Police were called to the scene and carried out a search of the building.
A police spokesman said: "We searched the building and found nothing untoward.
"Staff have been allowed back to work.
"We would like to thank all those people inconvenienced for their patience while we dealt with the incident."
An investigation is now underway into the incident and anyone with information should call police on 101
