Young footballers from Banwell will be heading to play a fixture in Amsterdam this month with a change shirt courtesy of their local credit union.
Banwell Under 16s FC looking forward to their Amsterdam tour
Somerset Savings and Loans staff discovered a stack of unused polo shirts carrying their old logo when they switched offices from Orchard Street in Weston-super-Mare to their new base in Portishead.
General manager Jackie Simpson said rather than throw the shirts out they had decided to recycle them back into the community.
She said: "The shirts carry our old logo - Weston-super-Mare & District Credit Union Ltd - but as we are all about working together in the community and we decided to offer the polo shirts to Banwell FC under 16s for their tour to Amsterdam."
The squad will be in Amsterdam from August 16-19.
