George Shelley and Union J out of the X Factor

UNION J have been voted out of the X Factor – in the nail biting semi final of the show.

George Shelley, 19, from Clevedon, and his bandmates polled the lowest amount of votes after nine weeks in the competition.
Mentor Louis Walsh said he was disappointed, but added: " I am a little disappointed.
"But they are going to have an amazing future.
"They are going to be the next big boy band."
The band told X Factor host Dermot O'Leary, said: "It has been our dream to be on this show.
"We can't describe it, we have loved every minute."
George's mum Toni Harris and the rest of the family were at home in Clevedon watching the results show tonight (Sunday).
Through to the final next Saturday is James Arthur, Jehmene Douglas and Christopher Maloney.
George a former student at Weston College and his band mates sang along with Rod Stewart tonight ahead of the vote results being announced.
One million people had voted in the 24 hours before the results show.
