Fitness Fans Take Part in Charity Aerobathon During National Heart Month.

HUNDREDS of fitness fans took part in a fundraising aerobathon at Hutton Moor Leisure Centre in Weston-Super-Mare as part of National Heart Month.
HUTTON Moor, a Parkwood Community Leisure managed centre, is encouraging people to care for their hearts by taking part in the event and raising money for the British Heart Foundation.
The event took place on Saturday September 15, from 10am – 4pm and competitors could take part in Body Attack, Body Pump, Legs, bums & Tums, Pilates, Zumba, circuits and aerobics.
Dave Somers, Hutton Moor General Manager, said: "Come along and have some fun with the instructor team at Hutton Moor.
"You can do as little or as much as you want and simply donate what you can to help us raise loads of money for the British Heart Foundation.
"There was a raffle to win annual membership to Hutton Moor with all proceeds to the British Heart Foundation and also to keep everyones energy up there was a cake stall."
In support of National Heart Month, Hutton Moor and The Winter Gardens are also supporting The British Heart Foundation walk along the prom on September 16.
In addition the leisure centre has also teamed up with Heart UK charity and fitness writer Lucy Wyndham-Read to highlight the positive impact of exercising the heart.
Customers signing up for expressions fitness membership in September will receive a pedometer with a record card, a fridge magnet to track progress progress and a healthy eating fact sheet written by Heart UK Dietetic Advisers.
This coupled with free gym induction, no joining fee and free programme and 6-week review, highlights how much Hutton Moor wants people to take their heart health seriously.
