Local youngster sees her winning idea printed

KellyAnne Lawrence, from Weston-super-Mare, was over the moon to visit a local design company's printing facilities as part of her prize for winning an Alliance Homes design-a-leaflet competition.

The competition, which ran in Alliance Homes' Insight Magazine which goes to every one of the social enterprise's homes, was to design the welcome card that all new tenants receive when they first move in. Many fantastic entries were received but it was KellyAnne's simple and colourful approach that unanimously won the judging panel over.

Fifteen year old KellyAnne has a big interest in art and really enjoyed the whole experience. Nicholas Cleeve, Managing Director of PacePrint, says, "KellyAnne was completely engaged with the whole process from the preparation of her design for press through to the printing and finishing process. From the feedback we get we know how worthwhile visits like this are. They are just great to be involved in and everybody here has enjoyed the visit as much as KellyAnne!"
