Two men from Weston-super-Mare have been jailed for cannabis production.
Nam Van Nam, 20, and Canh Than, 19, appeared at Bristol Crown Court last week after police seized over 300 cannabis plants in a raid at a house on Hurst Road, Weston-super-Mare in February 2012.
The plants were worth a street value of approximately £140,000.
Nam Van Nam and Canh Than were found guilty of producing cannabis and possession of criminal property.
They were sentenced to two and a half years and 15 months respectively.
An order was also made for the defendants to be deported at the end of their sentence.
The two men also received confiscation orders for a combined total of £5,400.
PC Richard Grierson said: "This is a significant seizure of cannabis that would have had a harmful effect on the communities of Avon and Somerset had it been sold on the streets."
