MINI owners from Norrth Somerset are being invited to display their cars at an event taking place at a garden centre next month.
The Mini Show will be held at Sanders Garden World in Brent Knoll on Sunday, July 8.
Phil Tyzack, Manager of the garden centre, said: "We are really looking forward to hosting the Mini Show at the garden centre.
"All types of Minis are welcome.
"Owners will be able to display their vehicles and enter them to be judged in a 'Show and Shine' competition.
"There will be six categories to enter: best Mini pre 1970, best Mini between 1970 and 1990, best Mini post 1990s, best new Mini and best in show.
Winners of each category will receive a small plaque or trophy and a motoring goodie.
"After the event, Mini owners are being invited to participate in a 'Mini Cruise', which will take drivers along the sea fronts in Burnham-on-Sea, Brean and Weston-super-Mare, over to Cheddar and back to the garden centre."
Scott Thomas, who runs Ford Focus specialists, The Focus Point based in Bristol and owns a Classic 1996 Mini Cooper, is organising and sponsoring the event, along with Dan Smith from DD's Autoshine in Weston-super-Mare.
He said: "This is the first time I have hosted a Mini Show at Sanders Garden World.
"Anyone interested in displaying a vehicle at the event can call me on 077718 14342 for further details."
The Mini Show takes place from 10am until 2.30pm. Gates will open at 9am, judging will take place at 12noon and presentations at 1.30pm. The Mini Cruise will leave the garden centre at approximately 2.30pm and will return at around 3.30pm.
