Schools and other venues in Weston-super-Mare are opening their doors as part of the family learning experience to extend discovery, excitement, learning and laughter to families. Learn a new dance, a new recipe or make an ideal Christmas gift, with puppet making, animation, performance, drumming, music and storytelling
It's a perfect time to get the family together to try something new and join in the fun. The festival's main aim is to introduce families to culture from around the world, to understand, explore and celebrate cultures through interactive family workshops.
Sign up for a journey of discovery that takes us from Lapland to the Balkans, from Southern India to the Caribbean, Africa and South America, stopping off at Japan, and the Bath and Java interchange along the way.
All family workshops are just £3 per family.
Families need to book early to avoid disappointment as some workshops have limited spaces. See Broadoak College website for a programme, booking form and participating schools www.broadoak.n-somerset.sch.uk
Families who attend more than one workshop automatically enter into a prize draw with great family prizes from Explore@Bristol, St Georges Bristol, Weston Playhouse Theatre, Weston Museum and Mendip Outdoor Pursuits.
