Musicians Rock 4 Charity on Weston Pier

A CHARITY rock concert is being held on Weston's Grand Pier this weekend.

Paul da Vinci is one of the acts appearing at the Rock 4 Charity gig on the pier.
The Rock 4 Charity concert, organised by Darren Sims, kicks off at 7.30pm, with an exciting line up of acts taking to the stage.
One of the acts is Paul Da Vinci who was the voice of The Rubette's 'Sugar Baby Love' and also was the voice of Tight Fit's 'The Lion Sleeps Tonight' and sold over eight million records
Also taking to the stage will be bands Interlude, Unison, Chuff, Silver Train, Daz & Friends, The Vacations and The Emperials.
Special guests include, Andrea Barber, Lee Ross, Theresa Alexander, Jake Sims, Jake Ryall, Stacey-Lou Hunt, Mitch Sanders-Healy, Loki Saunders, Max Brain and Paul Salvage.
This is the 10th concert Darren has organised and to date his music events have raised £72,000 for charity.
Proceeds from this gig will go to the Avon Riding Centre in Henbury which helps disabled children.
