A small group of young people caused mayhem in the Hutton Moor and The Maltlands area on Saturday afternoon.
Weston police are appealing for witnesses to a number of incidents which happened between noon-4pm on Saturday, September 28.
Police received reports of four robberies and three assaults.
The offences were committed by a small group of young people.
The incidents are being investigated and three young people have already been arrested, interviewed and bailed.
Police know there were people in the area and would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the incidents or saw a group of young people in the area at the time.
DI Julie Mackay, of Weston-super-Mare CID, said: "Recently there has been a sharp decline in these types of offences in Weston-super-Mare.
"It would be a shame if people became unduly worried about their safety as a result of these recent incidents.
"We are investigating the actions of this group of young people and are determined to identify everyone responsible and ensure they realise the seriousness of their actions.
"I would appeal to anyone with information to contact us."
This autumn police are running an operation targeting serious and acquisitive crime – which includes robbery, assault and theft of and from vehicles.
Operation Relentless was launched last month and since September 11 there have been 331 arrests.
If you have information about these incidents or know people involved in crime, contact the police on 101.
