POLICE have renewed their  appeal for witnesses to a crash in Weston-super-Mare in which a pensioner died.

The accident happened over a month ago, at around 1.30pm on December 10 when a Mercedes lorry and a woman collided as she crossed Nutwell Road in Worle.

The 82-year-old woman died at the scene.

The road was closed at the time while we began an investigation into the collision and our enquiries have continued since.

"We would still like to speak to anyone who witnessed the collision or has information which might help us with our investigation."

Anyone with information should call the police's collision investigation unit on 101.
