Schools across Weston-super-Mare Affected by Industrial Action

Schools across Weston-super-Mare and all of North Somerset have been disrupted today due to a day of industrial action.
This means the majority of schools are closed to all pupils while teachers go on strike.
Parents were informed late afternoon yesterday that the action would be going ahead.
At present according to North Somerset Council the following schools are the only ones across the district which are open today.
*Backwell Junior
*Corpus Christi, Weston-super-Mare
*Churchill
*Court de Wyck, Claverham
*Crockerne, Pill
*Kewstoke, weston-super-mare
*Mead Vale, Weston
*St Andrews Congresbury
*Wrington.
Some other schools are operating with partial closures. These are:
*All Saints, Clevedon
*Blagdon, years one and two
*Reception at Christ Church is closed
*Golden Valley, Nailsea -Yr 1 & Yr 3 (1 class closed), Y4 (both classes closed), Y5 (1 class closed), Y6 (both classes closed)
*High Down Junior, Portishead, -Nurs (Toucans), Rec (Puffins), Y1 (Penguins, Flamingoes and Ducks), Y2 (Seagulls) all closed
*Hutton Yr 1, 4, 5 & 6 Closed
*Locking- Classes 1C, 1/2G, 2F, 4/5S and 5/6C Closed
*Mary Elton, Clevedon - Yr 1 - Beech and Cherry classes, Yr 2 - Elm class, Yr 3 - Holly class, Yr 4 - Oak class and Yr 6 - Sycamore class all closed
*Portishead- Classes open are Seal, Sea Horse, Penguin, Columbus and Fiennes
*St Geroges, Weston- Open except for Nursery class
*St Martins, Worle- Open to Yr 5E and 5CS only
*St Nicholas Chantry, Clevedon- one class year 3/4 closed
*St Peter's Portishead- Yrs 1 & 6 are open, Other Yrs all closed*Yatton Junior- Closed to Classes 1 Yr 3/4, 1 Yr 4, 1 Yr 5 and 2 Yr 6
