The film, shot and edited by the College's BTEC Media Production students, was shown to more than 400 attendees during the event at the Winter Gardens.
It was commissioned by Weston Town Council to show off the best of the resort, including shots of the pier and the Sandcastle competition. Among those watching were Weston MP John Penrose and BBC Gardeners' Question Time panellist Anne Swithinbank.
Weston Town Council is now considering creating a dedicated tourism website, and it is hoped that the film might appear on it in the future.
Wendy Chadwick, Course Co-ordinator, BTEC Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production, said: "This was a challenging project for our students to make a film which showed the many different aspects of Weston.
"They had lots of different shots to choose from when it came to editing it to highlight the best points of the town and it was hard work getting out to all the different locations to film. They have produced a vibrant film which shows their hard work and professionalism in working for the Town Council."
Lilah Roncaglia, secretary to Weston Town Council's Town Clerk, added: "The students worked hard to produce a film of high standard. It was shown twice at the event and was well received."
