The VW Beetles pictured above at Royal Portbury Dock are heading to Turkey for the new James Bond movie Skyfall. The racks shrouded in blue on the Land Rovers are camera mounts. For the VW Beetles are believed to be heading to Turkey to be used in the next James Bond film Skyfall.
The secret agent, played by Daniel Craig in the new film, has frequently used the Universal Export cover story on his adventures.
Ironically Royal Portbury Docks, near Bristol, is renowned as being one of the UK's most popular docks for importing cars.
Motorists driving across the Avonmouth Bridge can see tens of thousands of cars sitting on the docks.
The Beetles were spotted by Daily Press reader Gary Williams, from Weston-super-Mare..
He said: "The Beetles are all attached by special hitches to the Land Rovers for filming purposes, I guess so that they can go where Beetles cannot normally go."
Alas for VW fans it is rumoured dozens of Beetles are destroyed in an elaborate piece of filming in the movie.
