The annual free festival is taking place on the weekend of September 15-16, providing great entertainment for the whole family.
The event, which attracts crowds from all over Clevedon and North Somerset, offers a wide range of activities and entertainment including sailing, canoeing, radio-controlled model boat races, zorbing and a raft race.
On the town's adjacent Salthouse Fields there will be a display by a Viking re-enactment group, a Family It's a Knockout tournament, climbing wall, classic car rally, dog agility displays, a truck pull and even a Pop-up cinema showing a free feature film (Walt Disney's Up) and showcasing local young film makers' talents.
In addition to all these activities a total of 28 bands and entertainers will be performing over the weekend on the festival's two stages featuring everything from burlesque to line dancing, traditional folk to progressive rock.
There will also be 70s disco covers, indie, reggae, beautiful vocal harmonies and up tempo jazz.
The festival creates a Village Street of stalls and sideshows featuring both community organisations and local businesses ranging from cookery demonstrations to hands-on amateur radio.
This year, there is the added interest of the drama Broadchurch, staring David Tennant, being filmed in Clevedon in the weeks before and after the festival.
The Salthouse Fields are currently the base-camp for the cast and crew, some of whom will be visiting the festival.
Saturday culminates in a spectacular firework display. So, if you want a great free day out and the possibility of rubbing shoulders with a celeb or two Clevedon's Marine Lake Festival is the place to be.
The event kicks off with a special Schools' Day on Friday from 9am-4:30pm. Saturday's events run from10am-10pm with the fireworks display at 8:30pm, and Sunday's event kick off at 11am and run until 6:30pm.
