WESTON College degree students are selling hand-made, limited edition screenprints to raise money for Weston Hospicecare and a travelling arts exhibition.

The one-off show, Platform 14, will feature unique images of the South West and take place in the Hans Price building, Church Road, on December 10th at 7pm.

Graphic design degree student, Hannah Corke, 23, of Bradley Cross, Cheddar, said: "There are 14 of us in the show and next summer we will exhibit in Weston, Bristol's Paintworks and The Design Centre in London."

Graphic Design Curriculum Co-ordinator Victoria Norcross added: "This is the first time degree students have had a travelling exhibition of their work and to see it on show in London.

"This event is an amazing chance for the public to buy a piece of art that is a unique Christmas present for themselves or friends and family. "

As well as work by Weston College students, artists from the local community will put forward their designs in a silent auction.

The evening includes a DJ. Tickets are available on the door at £5 and include a complimentary glass of Prosecco.
