Former Weston College student in X Factor semi-final with Union J boy band

Union J are through to the semi-finals of X Factor - hooray.
And George Shelley the boy band member from North Somerset tweeted: "So grateful to be through!
"Massive thank you to all of you xxx."
Just hours before George had said: "Fingers crossed guys, we're ready to go."
But it was another nail-biting week for the band made up of George, 19, Jamie Hamblett, 24, Josh Cuthbert 20, and Jaymi Hensley 22.
They were in the sing-off for the third time with camp singer and popular novelty entertainer Rylan Clark.
George's mum Toni Harris, 50, together with family and friends have been busy handing out fliers on the streets .
And every Friday and Saturday a big banner goes up on different roadside sites urging supporters to vote for George and Union J.
George who went to school at Backwell, Nailsea, Clevedon, Burnham and Cheddar before doing a foundation degree course at Weston College and going to Bath Spa University is counts on local support to get them through - Weston People support George and Union J..
