Wheelchair Stolen from Weston-super-Mare Care Home

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following the theft of a wheel chair from a care home in Weston-super-Mare.
Sometime between 4pm and 4.30pm on Monday June 18, two women walked into Diamond Court Care Home in Diamond Batch, Weston-super-Mare and attempted to take an electric mobility scooter, when they failed they walked out of the building with a wheel chair.
PCSO Michael Benfield said: "This was a callous crime that has left a man who is resident at the home unable to leave the premises as he cannot walk very far.
"I would urge anyone who knows who took this wheel chair to come forward."
Officers are now keen to speak to two women who are described between 16 and 18 years old, both were wearing white shirts and black trousers or leggings. One was of a slim build and the other of a medium build.
