People from North Somerset will be putting the kettle on for the World's Biggest Coffee Morning this month.
It is Macmillan Cancer Support's biggest annual fundraising event which has been running since 1990.
Last year more than 50,000 people hosted a coffee morning raising an incredible £10 million for Macmillan Cancer Care.
The mayor of Weston-super-Mare is among those inviting people to enjoy a brew and help raise money.
Councillor David Hitchins is hosting a coffee morning at Barcode Youth Café, South Parade, on Friday, September 28, from 10am-noon.
Everyone is welcome and anyone who would like to donate a cake (or two) can call Grove House on 01934 632567 for further information.
For the first time this year Puxton Park will be among those taking part.
It is inviting families along also on Friday morning, September 28, from 10am-noon.
And the 50-acres adventure parking has teamed up with The Weston Twins & More a support group for parents with experience of multiple births to make the charity event even more memorable.
Puxton Park will be entertaining preschool children with Punch and Judy shows and face-painting while for a small donation the grown-ups can enjoy teas, coffees and cakes.
Weston Twins & More founder Marita Bonillo-Farias said: "I think many of our families have been touched by cancer in one way or another and for most it of us it will be the hardest thing we will ever have to deal with.
"Macmillan Cancer Support is one of the most important charities that needs all our support.
"We are hoping that together with Puxton Park we can help Macmillan Cancer Support raise lots of money."
Puxton Park managing director Alistair Mead said: "MacMillan nurses therapists and support workers do a fantastic job in helping those affected by cancer and we are delighted to offer our support this year to the charity."
