Free runners will have the chance to hone their skills further with extra sessions at The Campus.
From November The Campus in Highlands Lane, Weston-super-Mare, will be hosting an extra weekly free-running session, which means that young people can come and practise this urban sport twice a week!
The sessions are also being extended from 45 minutes to an hour and a half - giving free runners even longer to practise their moves.
From the week beginning November 5, the sessions will run on Tuesday evenings from 7.45-9.15pm and on Sunday afternoons from 3.30-5pm.
Free running is a kind of 'urban acrobatics' where runners use obstacles to perform gymnastic movements.
The classes will be run by Sharon Benham of Splitz Gymnastics Club and will use a variety of gymnastic equipment in the sports hall, which provides a safe environment to practise the sport and learn new tricks.
The sessions are for young people aged eight to 16 years old and can be paid for either per term or on a drop-in basis.
For more information about the sessions contact Sharon on 0790 085 6129.
