Houston Dental Practice ............any views anyone please

I heard they are expensive and a dental nurse I know advised me to go elsewhere!

A dental factory, takes both private and NHS. I wouldn't go so far as rude but certainly impersonal and production line atmosphere. I wouldn't use.

I go to Houston Dentist, and although my Particular Dentist is very nice, it is my opinion that they try to SELL you extra things and services. For example, my Dentist told me that I needed to see the Hygenist because I had signs of Gum Disease So I said OK.
When I got to Reception I was told I would have to go PRIVATE and pay extra. I asked why as I am a NHS patient. I was told that NHS do not cover Hygenist services unless there is a Problem. So I said Problem like what, She replied like GUm Disease. I said well thsats why I have been refered because of signs of Gum Disease. She said well its not on your notes so you will have to Pay for Private. So I refused to have it Done.

So YES they do try to get as much out of you as they can, in that regard I would not recomend them. Sorry !
