Okay - this is a subject that interests me, I see a lot of American's like this genre too. Males seem to 'gravitate' towards the comics/sci-fi/old books type stuff and women seem to go towards making vintage collages or craft type stuff.

Vintage images that interest me at the moment are 1950's style sci-fi, and Victorian fashion, lots of these images are public domain in the USA and available for free to use in art projects, so I will probably be creating some of my own collages and try to sell them on ebay.

Another Vintage thing that interests me, personally is old coffee pots, plates, cups from the 60's and 70's, that are often in charity shops, then resold as retro items on ebay (again!) I've seen quite a few websites offering missing pieces of china to make up sets.

The financial value of these items took bit of a nose dive a couple years back when world + dog started trying to sell this stuff, but I still think there are some viable collectibles still to be found, you help charities by buying the items they source, then resell to collectors.
