The Weston Wheel has almost gone from Weston seafront but it is set to return next year. Would you like it back?

Yeah, I think having the Wheel does help with the revenue for Weston, people seem to enjoy going on it, everytime I have passed there were queues and it was being used.  Weston needs to have money coming in to help with projects like the Tropicana, Pier etc and this is a way of doing so. 

It is like when the pier was there, the slot machines etc on the pier was a crowd puller, Weston needs this I think to compete with other seaside towns'''

I think the plan for next year is to site a new bigger wheel, 50m high further alogn the seafront. I guess we will have to wait and see what happens.

Yes indeed it should come back, word on the grapevine is that the next wheel is 20 mtrs higher, brilliant I say good luck to Weston with the changes that are being made. with the pier work now in full flow there will be a lot more visitors to Weston this winter just to see the progress of the pier and with the wheel as well its going to be a great place to visit. Even as the pier is out at the moment I and my family love to come to Weston. Ron in Evesham.
