Anyone fancy making up a storm watch group in weston, where we can all meet up when a storm comes in?

Would not just be a good idea to monitor it, picture it, etc, but to make ourselves available as a group who can put themselves on call, if needed especially now that the more serious weather is on its way. Observers who are a reliable group, would i`m sure be looked upon, as a serious help to all in rescue situations of all types.

The site has thousands of members and photography category along with much more.

Weston hasn't seen much action on the storm front this year due to lack of heat and no Spanish Plume, however, whenever there is a network of mobile numbers to text for updates would be good. I've pictured the odd funnel cloud across the Bristol Channel and nearly struck by lightning while out chasing across Somerset.

Setting-up a Group of interested people would be required, not just for Thunderstorms but also Snowfall, Strong Wind/Structural Damage, High Tides and other weather related events.
