yes it could be saved, yes they should be allowed to save it, however North Somerset Council is hell bent on demolishing it, wasting our council tax money on doing what any developer with planning permission would have to do. Save our money and spend it on keeping it open! It is our money, NSC have a history of ignoring westonians. In 2008 a total of 22,600 signatures were presented requesting a charitable trust be set up, the council have done nothing except pursue a hidden agenda to get rid of this embarrassment and shining example of their gross incompetence & complete lack of vision!
If you want it redeveloped so badly, why did you all wait for it to be derelict for 10 years before you decided it's the worst thing ever that it's not being used?
Everyone laughs at us every time is back in the paper or gets a mention in the local news. How many towns do you travel to, to use a fun-pool?
It will have to be knocked down before it can be redeveloped anyway. Can we just get on with it please?
Or do we need to wait until some children play in there and get injured by falling masonry?
