The police are cracking down on the boy racers again - are they really a massive nuisance for people living near the beach? I'd rather they were racing on the beach than round the roads!

The police are cracking down on the boy racers again - are they really a massive nuisance for people living near the beach?  I'd rather they were racing on the beach than round the roads!

I really think it would be great if an area could be set aside for them - for example on the airfield, where they could meet up, show off, race around a bit, have toilets, maybe a burger van and pay entry.  It would be a money earner for the Council or some private enterprise and would be using spare space until work begins on development.  I can only see benefits - keeping them off the streets and making money in the process - anyone like that idea?

Guys I do agree with the designated area for them to go but as we live on pennycress then all we hear is them running up and down the by pass. As I said I wouldn't mind them using the airfield but this would have to be at a reasonable time. Not at ridiculous times of the night when little kids are asleep.
