Travelling Light's world premiere of The Mysterious Vanishment of Pobby & Dingan is an enchanting and heartbreaking story for everyone (9 to adult). It is adapted from Ben Rice's novella Pobby and Dingan by award-winning playwright Finegan Kruckemeyer and directed by regular Travelling Light performer and director Craig Edwards who also directed the last show to tour North Somerset, The Six Wives of Henry VIII.
Pobby and Dingan are Kellyanne Williamson's best friends; maybe her only friends, and only she can see them. Only when Pobby and Dingan disappear and Kellyanne becomes heartsick over their loss does Ashmol, Kellyanne's sceptical brother, realise that not only must he believe in Pobby and Dingan, he must convince others to believe in them too.
This production is part of Theatre Orchard's first ever season of work and follows Living Spit's The Six Wives Of Henry VIII, which toured to wide acclaim in September 2012.
