BRIT-Award winning classical harmony group Blake, widely known as the the group who formed on Facebook, are set to astound audiences with their exciting 2013 'Live in Concert' tour.
Fresh back from major tours in Asia, America and Europe, the boys have got hilarious stories to tell and a host of new songs to share, including exclusive numbers from their new album 'Start Over'.
Combing the vocal grandeur of The Three Tenors with the infectious harmonies of The Bee Gees and the comedy of the Rat Pack, the exclusive new trio sound of BRIT-Award winners Blake will be revealed.
The boys will combine classical, pop, rock and musicals in a two-hour show that amazes with its variety and class, as well as spectacular video projections.
Classical BRIT nominee Camilla Kerslake will also be joining Blake at The Playhouse Theatre, Weston-super-Mare, on Friday, 25 October.
Having first worked with Camilla when they performed Nessun Dorma together at the 2010 Classical BRIT Awards, they have recently recorded the single 'You Raise Me Up' together in aid of the Breast Cancer Campaign.
During the evening, Camilla will be performing songs from her eponymous debut album and dueting with Blake on 'The Prayer', 'Time To Say Goodbye' and 'Jerusalem'.
Mixing eclectic classical and pop songs with rich harmony vocals, Blake launched their first album in 2007, just six months after reuniting as friends on Facebook.
Their debut album went straight to number one in the UK Classical Album Chart, into the Top 20 Pop Chart and sold more than 100,000 copies in just three weeks earning them their first Gold Disc.
Music industry recognition followed in early 2008, when the album received the prestigious Brit-Award for Album of the Year, a huge honour for a group still less than a year old.
Since launching the group have achieved three albums at No.1 in the Classical Album Charts and launched their music in over nine different countries as a classical act.
Other highlights for Blake have included singing for Shirley Bassey at her 70th birthday party, performing in front of 80,000 football fans at Wembley Stadium and having their version of the "Swing Low" chosen as the Official Anthem of the England rugby team for the 2007 Rugby World Cup.
As well as devoting themselves to their fans and music, the band spends a huge amount of their time supporting several charities close to their hearts such as Help For Heroes, The British Legion and MIND to name but a few.
The band's deep support of the British forces has seen them perform twice for the Queen at the Albert Hall at the Festival of Remembrance.
This year they have enjoyed their busiest year yet, with more than 90 live concert appearances including headlining the famous Henley festival and a recent high profile performance for Prince Albert and Princess Charlene of Monaco.
With over a million albums sold, and having performed on nearly 150 TV shows around the world, Blake continue to build their reputation as one of the most eclectic and exciting pop-harmony groups in the world.
Blake will be at the Playhouse, Weston-super-Mare, on Friday 25 October, at 7.30pm. Tickets, priced at £21, £19 are available on 01934 645 544 or online at http://tinyurl.com/qcsuzlp target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://tinyurl.com/677l7bh" target="_blank">http://tinyurl.com/677l7bh
