BIG band fans get ready for the world's greatest Big Band Show Live in Concert at The Playhouse Theatre in Weston-super-Mare.
Ray McVay presents Glenn Miller Orchestra, the exact stage line-up devised by Glenn Miller, consisting of the leader, five saxophones, four trumpets, four trombones and three rhythm plus a male and female vocalist.
The singers perform fabulous harmonies both individually and as part of The Moonlight Serenaders vocal group.
They include Catherine Sykes and Colin Anthony, as well as Ray Wordsworth with the swinging jazz band, The Uptown Hall Gang.
Sinatra, Dean Martin and Louis Armstrong are all featured with the Story of the Big Bands and a very special tribute to the late great Ted Heath Orchestra.
Come and hear the music that got us through the war with smiles on our faces and laid the foundations of pop right up to the present day – including the song that became pop history's first gold disc, Chattanooga Choo Choo!
You'll hear the original arrangements of classic wartime chart toppers including: In the Mood, Moonlight Serenade, American Patrol, Little Brown Jug and Tuxedo Junction to name but a few.
A band spokesman, said: "We've stayed true to Glen's sound and style - even when we've added new songs to the repertoire.
"The new additions have turned out wonderfully, sounding very much the way Glenn would have insisted if he were still here!
"Quality music always withstands the test of time, ageing gracefully and mellowing over the years. If anything, we believe that the authentic Glenn Miller music is now more popular than ever. We owe it to Glenn to keep it that way."
Audiences of all ages will be thrilled by the sound of this amazing Big Band - a perfect night out for Big Band aficionados!
Glenn Miller Orchestra will be at the Playhouse, Weston-super-Mare, on Wednesday 21 August at 7.30pm.
