It's party time again as the nation's favourite rock 'n' roll variety show That'll Be The Day returns by popular demand with a brand new production.
Now in its 27th year of touring continuously in the UK and Europe, the legendary That'll Be The Day show is living proof that Rock 'n' Roll will never die.
Nostalgia, music and comedy top the bill in the production, which comes to The Playhouse Theatre for one night only promising audiences a night to remember.
Featuring all the greatest hits from the 50's, 60's and 70's plus great new comedy, That'll Be The Day is two hours of non-stop nostalgia offering a real trip down memory lane.
The show reflects the music and tone of an era that changed the course of music history and youth culture forever.
That'll Be The Day was established on the cabaret circuit in the late 1980's and began playing regional theatres in the early 1990's.
Having delighted audiences for over two decades, That'll Be The Day is now the longest running 'one-night' touring show in the United Kingdom.
Despite performing as many as 230 shows a year to capacity audiences across the UK and Europe, Trevor Payne who wrote and created the show back in 1987 and still directs, produces and stars in the production today.
Trevor Payne said: "We can't wait to bring the new show to Weston-super-Mare in the autumn. This time it's better than ever."
The show, which currently comprises of six vocalists and five musicians, is rewritten annually to incorporate new and used material.
Over six months is taken in planning and preparation, culminating in a month of intensive rehearsals before the show once again takes to the road with its new offering every year.
Joining Trevor in the line-up are Gary Anderson (Vocals), Julia Greenham (Vocals), Rebel Dean (Vocals), Jodie Lawson (Vocals) & Nikki Renee Hechavarria (Vocals), Clive Fishlock (Vocals, Keyboard, Saxophone, Drums, Rhythm Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar), Phil Hollender (Keyboard), Iain Hawkins (Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Bass Guitar, Vocals) Mark Street (Drums, Vocals), Ollie Gray (Bass Guitar, Double Bass, Acoustic Guitar, Drums, Vocals).

Audiences can also enjoy a pre-theatre two course dinner prior to the show at the Winter Gardens costing £9.95 per person, available to book via the Playhouse website.
