A TALENTED cast of performers are undertaking their final rehearsals ahead of the Songs from The Shows Christmas Special in Weston-super-Mare.
Songs From The Shows Christmas Special, comes to The Winter Gardens in Royal Parade, on December 12, at 8pm, following the successful Summer Season show.
The shows are produced by 1st Call Entertainment and directed by Matthew Jeanes, offering audiences a cast of highly talented performers, colourful costumes and imaginative choreography.
All the performers live in the North Somerset area and therefore the show highlights the vast amount of local talent.
Songs From The Shows Christmas Special will feature popular songs from stage, films and musicals together with a selection of Christmas favourites.
Julian Franks, of 1st Call Entertainment, who hosts the show, said: "This is the Christmas Special of the Summer Season show, now in its 17th year.
"It promises to be a highly entertaining evening with favourite songs from the Summer Season, which will include music from My Fair Lady, GiGi, Hello Dolly, Brigadoon and High Society among others, plus a special tribute to the musical maestro Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber.
"The second half of the show will be a celebration of the most wonderful time of the year with a mixture of Christmas pop songs, traditional favourites and carols.
"We look forward to bringing the show to Weston once again with some exciting costume changes and hope that it will be well supported offering some festive cheer all around."
Tickets are priced £11.50 adults, £10.50 for seniors/children and £9.50 for concessions and parties of 10+. One child (up to and including 12 years of age) is free with every paying adult.
