TWO lifesaving charities are looking to raise valuable funds towards their rescue efforts at a charity dinner and dance.
The Winter Gardens in Weston-super-Mare is holding the dinner and dance on Saturday November 3, at 7.30pm in aid of both charities.
Entertainment will be provided by the Neil Diamond Tribute Show by David Ford, acclaimed as "The essential Neil Diamond Tribute."
David has all the ingredients to capture the very essence that is Neil Diamond from the sombre opening chords of "America", or the feel good factor of "Sweet Caroline", his superb emulation has wowed audiences worldwide.
Pete Holder, Lifeboat Operations Manager at Weston RNLI Lifeboat Station, said: "I am very pleased to support this Fundraising event for two great charities, which are close to my heart.
"I have been involved with the RNLI at Weston for some 39 years and know how important Public Support is for our voluntary charity, without it we could not carry on our work of "Saving Lives at Sea".
"Similarly the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity relies on public donations to keep flying.
"None of us ever know when we or Family members may need the services of either of them, please Support this event."
Peter Undery, Winter Gardens general manager, said: "We are pleased to be staging this black tie event in aid of two very worthy causes, both of which save lives every day.
"We hope that the community will get behind the event and raise valuable funds towards their lifesaving efforts."
Tickets cost £29 and are on sale now, call the Winter Gardens Box office on 01934 417117.
