Sponsorship and Support Needed for Somerset Scrapstore

This is an appeal to any generous individuals or business people who may

be in a position to help. As a registered charity, we at GEMS Scrapstore and Play Resource Centre are currently

finding it increasingly difficult to secure any funding, both locally

and nationally. We are based in Wells but our services reach out as far as North Somerset, BANES and Taunton Deane.

I am looking for sponsorship for the Scrapstore, or financial support to

see us through these difficult times. We are serving many of our local

schools, children's services and community groups, diverting waste from

landfill and delivering many community based projects. In turn, we are

going to become increasingly vital to help support countless groups who

are also facing spending cuts and turn to us to make their money stretch

further. It is also very likely that we will have some or all of our

Voluntary Sector Funding pulled in April by MDC which pays towards core

costs.
