This wheel is a great summer attraction and allows you to take in great views of Weston and beyond in one of the glass capsules. It is well worth a go.
Sculptures from across the globe have once again created magnificent carvings out of Sand. Prices and more information can be found in our what’s on guide
4) Weston Water park
Newly opened this is a free family attraction offering the best value for money. It has all sorts of slides and climbing towers as well as the wet zone.
5) Marine Lake
A great day out where you can chill out on the sand or take a walk across the causeway from Knightstone Island. It also makes a great stroll early evening and you can eat a fabulous meal at The Cove Restaurant, which overlooks the lake.
This quaint little tea room can be found on the Weston to Kewstoke toll road. It has lovely gardens out doors so you can sit and take in the views of the Bristol channel.
7) Relaxing on Weston’s Beach
Hire a deck chair or take some beach mats and relax on the beach eating an icecream or tuck into traditional fish and chips or a tub of seafood. For the kids there are donkey rides, bouncy castle, swingboats and trampolines.
Every Saturday night you can watch free impressive firework displays on Weston seafront from Knightstone Island.
9) VII Bistro
Looking for somewhere to dine near to the seafront? Try Seven Bistro. It is modern, clean with friendly staff and most importantly fabulous food.
10) The Grand Pier
I’m including the pier for now as even though it is not yet open it will hopefully be open next month. Even as it stands now the pier is an impressive sight and worth taking a look at from the shore.

I know a clowning secret. There'll be lots of clowning around when a circus day takes place in Weston-super-Mare.
It is on August 25, from 11am to 2pm in St John’s Field, Coleridge Road (behind Weston youth centre).
There wil be a circus-skills workshops with Wookey Hole circus performers; face painting; storytelling and a barbecue.
