Feeling Sporty Check Out Sports Activities on Offer in Weston-super-Mare

FEELING sporty or looking for sporting activities on offer for your children now the school holidays are about to start?

Well here is a guide to some events taking place in the resort over the summer from football to dancing.

Beach Football Tournament  on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 August 10am - 4pm Weston Beach, nr Clifton Sands

Games are all 5 a side with no footwear allowed, this is samba football at it’s best.  The senior tournament takes place on the Saturday.  The junior tournament is on Sunday and is split into two age groups; 13-14 and 15-16 and these are limited again to 16 teams in each.

Seashore Treasures  Tuesdays 27 July, 3, 10, 17, 24 August 11:30am – 1pm  Make a treasure with a seaside theme. For under-5s, adult assistance essential.

Make a postcard from the seaside to send to friends or family. For 6 – 11 year olds.
