Cannabis Producer From Weston-super-Mare Sentenced To Prison

A man from Weston-super-Mare has been sentenced to nine months imprisonment after appearing at Bristol Crown Court charged with production of cannabis and possession with intent to supply cannabis.

The 29-year-old was arrested in March after police seized £25,000 worth of dried cannabis and 71 cannabis plants from an address on Malvern Road.

PC Steve Wakefield said: “We take drug related crime very seriously in Weston-super-Mare and I hope this result reassures local residents that offenders will be caught and forced to face the consequences.”
