Katie Price in Weston-super-Mare this weekend

GLAMOUR model Katie Price will be heading to Weston-super-Mare on Saturday for a special signing of her new book.

Katie – aka Jordan - will be at Waterstones in the Sovereign Centre on August 14 at 11am to sign copies of her new book Paradise .

The book is the model’s fifth novel and the next eagerly awaited instalment of the Angel Trilogy.

Katie, who recently married cage fighter and Big Brother star Alex Reid, is on a countrywide signing tour.

Bosses at the book shop have secured around 500 copies of the book for Katie to sign, although crowds of several hundred people are expected to turn out to see the celebrity mum-of-three.

Waterstones acting branch manager, Sam Jarvis, said: “We are really excited about Katie coming to the store.

“It is great because it will bring a lot of people into the town and give people the chance to see one of their favourite celebrities.

“We are expecting a crowd of several hundred people to turn out.”

This is not the first time a celebrity has descended on the book shop to do a signing.

Last year Jeremy Kyle visited the store to sign copies of his book, attracting crowds of hundreds which saw people queuing out of the doors of the shopping centre.
