ReportWhat a great discovery
Since walking into Infinity with an enquiry one day I have not stopped going back. I have to have my hair coloured every 4-6 weeks as I am going prematurely grey and had previously always gone somewhere else. I had been reluctant to change however I am so glad I did. I have now had my hair done here half a dozen times - cut, colour, updo, restyle and I love it every time and I love the price which is much less than what I was spending previously. The staff are lovely and friendly and I even take my kids here now - my 6 year old had such a phobia about having her hair done but loves it here as they are so good with her. I also treated myself to an eyebrow wax last time I was there and I would highly recommend it. They also do microdermabrasion now aswell as st tropez tanning. I would highly recommend them to anybody.

Established in April 2009, we have been going strong now for 2 years and in that time have added more products and services. You can get a whole range of treatments which include

Would not recommend permanent eyelashes!
I had eyelash extensions treatment at Infinity, followed by an infill a week later. Before i even had the infill done i had lost a few big clumps of eyelashes, but put this down to my own eyelash cycle - How wrong was i!
Only a week or so after the infill i had big gaps and looked like a complete idiot. It even ripped half my own eyelashes out - This could of been down to lack of advise given in the beginning on how to care for these correctly.. but having been to see a 'professional' beautician shortly afterwards i was shocked to of learned that :- a) I should of been given a brush to use daily - and
b) The eyelashes should of been individually glued rather than having been glued in 'clumps' of hairs.
Hence when the hairs fell out - big gaps were noticeably visible.
Unfortunately i was very disappointed with the service - and probably should of known this when i realised how cheap this was being offered at Infinity compared to other salons. Also having left the salon with a big chunk of black glue on my eyelid - when you pay to have a service to improve your appearance is not a very good practice in my eyes (excuse the pun).
Sadly the only positive thing i can say about this service is that the girl was very friendly, but not a good enough of a reason to make me return for another treatment im afraid.By SunnySuperMe at 19:20 on 02/11/11

absolute joke eyelashes
had eyelashes put in, i was told they would last up to twelve weeks! but they only lasted up to 3 DAYS TOPS! went back and was told it was an eyelash cycle this happened 5-6 times asked for a refund and was told they dont give refunds and that it was my own problem, and that i had put mascara on (which would cause them to come off) when i clearly had not!! !! I WILL BE GOING TO TRADING STANDARDS!! nothing but excuses time after time! then they made out they had done me a favour by not charging me to put them in when it was there problem! you dont expect to pay 35 pounds that come out IN A FEW DAYS, when supposed to last a lot lot longer!! so angry if they had of resolved the problem they would have had a regular customer but instead they tried stinging me! ! they also bodged my nail extensions!

Dodgy Eyelashes
I visited the salon to get permanent eyelashes fitted. I wanted them to look natural and not be too long. The lashes that were fitted were ridiculously long..... like a drag queen! and looked fake. the glue stuck my eye lids together and gave me sore/red eyes. I notice the above comment regarding the same problem in December '10, so clearly they are not learning from their mistakes.
I recieved no reciept for it, and the cash handling was strange.
perhaps just stick to the hair dressing and go back to college to learn the rest properly.

Customer Service.....
My friend recently used this salon to have eyelash extensions and false nails. The eyelash extensions were supposed to be fitted to the natural eyelashes so that they shed at the same time, however what she ended up with were sore patches of skin where clumps of glue had been stuck to her eyelids. The false nails used were too wide for the nails, and looked very unprofessional. As the sizing was wrong, they were falling off within an hour. To rectify this, she was given a "french manicure". What she actually got was deeply ridged nails with a shaky white line on each finger, a cut on her little finger from the nail scissors, and badly shaped nails. To top it off when explaining she was unhappy with these things, she got dispicable customer service in return, with the manager completely ignoring her. I now certainly won't be using this salon!

Would thoroughly recommend this friendly salon!
I have been using Infinity for nearly a year and have always had a great experience. The staff are extremely friendly and always make me feel welcome unlike some other salons I have been to in the past. They also offer a wide range of beauty services including St Tropez spray tan (I only discovered this today after going elsewhere!) which makes it in my opinion, an excellent place to be pampered!! I must also add that the owner is a very lovely lady and she always does my hair exactly how I want it! What more could you ask for?! :)
