The actress will be arriving in the resort on Friday, September 24, to take part in Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at Loves cafe.
Mrs Munro, who appeared in the James Bond classic
Mrs Munro said: “My mother sadly lost her fight with cancer and Macmillan were with us every step of the way.
“To be in a position where I can give a bit back, albeit in some small way, is very gratifying and I have seen first hand how important Macmillan are to people.
“I love Weston-super-Mare and Macmillan fund essential services here.
“It is a significant opportunity to make a return visit to help make a real difference..”
Macmillan’s fundraising manager, Ian Dore, said: “To glean the support of such a highly regarded actress and have her attend their coffee morning is another feather in their cap.
“Loves is a great location and this is a great ‘showbiz’ addition to the coffee morning event.”
