Twelve-year-old Michael McKenzie has a rare condition called proximal femoral focal deficiency, or PFFD. Michael needs an operation to give him hip and knee joints, having already undergone 19 operations to lengthen his leg by a record-breaking 31 centimetres. The earlier procedures mean he was able to walk unaided for the first time last month, at the age of 12, but one more major operation remains on the horizon. PLEASE, PLEASE Come and support us on the 1st May.
