MILTON DRIVING SCHOOL was founded by Mike Webster in 2003, with the focus on providing professional, patient and understanding teaching skills to pupils throughout the local Weston-Super-Mare area including Clevedon,Yatton, Cleeve, Congresbury, Banwell, churchhill, Winscombe and Brent Knoll. My aim is to give pupils the highest possible level of instruction, not just to driving test level, but to a skill for life level, which means covering all levels of driving - for example, all aspects of town, city and rural roads, plus dual carriageways etc. I will teach the pupil how to deal with all typs of traffic situations by using a carefully structered format, from the pupils first lesson to there last lesson before there driving test.
During the course of the pupil's training, I will offer help and advise with the preparation of the theory and hazard perception test, if required. And when the pupil successfully passes their driving test, I can also offer Pass Plus, which consists of a minimum of 6 hours further driving training, it will enable the pupil to gain quality experience. I will also teach the pupil how to develop a positive driving style by driving on motorways, city traffic and demanding rural roads etc. (dont worry, you don't have to take a test at the end).
Once you have completed the Pass Plus you will be sent a certificate, when you insure you first car, quote the Pass Plus number on the certificate and you should receive a discount on the insurance quote.
At the start of the pupils training, I will provide a folder of informaion which will include: a 4 stage progress chart covering 8 points in each stage of the driving, so that I can monitor each lesson, giving the pupil the maximum help in the weaker areas of there driving. A diary page, so that the pupil can see when each lesson is due, and monitor the number of lessons taken. Information on driving skill books to buy, theory and practical test phone numbers and web site addresses, plus lots of relevant training information.
My hourly rate is £20 or £19 if you are a student with a student card.
If the pupil pays a block booking of 10 lessons up front the rate is £190 or £180 for students.
