Christmas plans coming early

It maybe more than five months away but it appears that people are already starting to plan ahead for the Christmas party season.
Hotels, restaurants and venues in the West are already starting to make plans for the festive season even though the schools have just broken up and most people are still getting ready to head off for their summer holidays.
Most of us would prefer not to think about turkey and tinsel in the middle of the summer but the Christmas season is the most important part of the year for the hospitality industry and planing starts months before the big events take place.
Puxton Park, near Weston-super-Mare, has already printed up its Christmas menu and has started taking booking for large groups.
The family fun park is spreading into the hospitality business and hoping to make use of its premises during the quiet winter months.
Also advertising its Christmas offerings is the Aztec Hotel and Spa near Bristol. The hotel complex has settled on a Las Vegas theme for the festive and party season and is already taking bookings with business said to be brisk.
