NOW that the wintery weather appears to be behind us most people are starting to venture out a bit more. For those of you are unsure what to do or where to go, here is a top 10 list for Weston.

Do you agree? Or what do you think should be rated in the top 10?

*Top restaurant- Duets

Offering both top quality delicious food and fantastic table service, this small cosy intimate restaurant is my favourite place to eat. Every time I have eaten there my meal has been outstanding. The after dinner plate of treats is yummy. Visit the website for more details at

http://www.duets.co.uk/

*Top bar – Ammos Bar & Restaurant

This new stylish Greek venue has great décor and seems to be a popular haunt in the resort. The owners have fitted it out well with stone walls, funky coffee tables made from tree trunks with leather sofas. It just has a generally nice feel and better than some of the other bars, which are a bit worn and tacky.

*Top night club –Bar VII (Seven)

This is the most upmarket club in town where you can be guaranteed it does not stink of stale sick and your shoes don’t stick to the floor. There is an upstairs bar and dance floor so pick whatever takes your fancy. It seems to attract all ages so you don’t have to worry about being too old or too young.

*Top café –Number One

This is a cosy two storey café on the Boulevard. Every time I have eaten there the food has been fab and even just to go for a coffee or even a glass of wine, it is worth a visit. Look online for menu details and special events at

http://www.numberoneweston.co.uk/

*Top attraction – The Grand Pier

Although it is not built yet I think looking at how well the Grand Pier has progressed and knowing hat state-of-the-art attractions are planned ready for the opening this summer, I believe the new pier will be the top attraction for Weston. Keep up to date with developments at

http://www.grandpierwsm.co.uk/

*Top kids destination- Puxton Park

This farmyard attraction is a great place for the whole family. It has a huge indoor play centre, activities outside and a range of animals and smaller pets for the children to go and look at. For parents there is a lovely farm shop selling a wide range of food items grown locally. For details visit

*Top shop- Dunelm.

I don’t rate the women’s clothes shops in Weston, they are not really worth bothering with except for Quest on the Boulevard. So my top shop, although many of you will find my choice weird, I have to say it is Dunelm because whatever you want for the home, it has it all under one roof. Plus the store is in the middle of an expansion programme, which is nearly finished so it can offer an even bigger selection. See for yourself or go online to

*Top curry house- Tandoori Masala, Worle

This is the best curry house in Weston in my opinion and it never lets you down. The curry is always top notch and the staff are very friendly. The only disappointment is the fact that they don’t deliver but that is just me being lazy. Check out the menu online at

http://www.tandoorimasala.co.uk/

*Top fish & chips- Papas

Oh my god, these chips are delicious and I would say they are the best I have ever tasted. I would love to know what their secret ingredient is. I usually have sausage and chips but the fish is great too. It is no wonder the queue for the restaurant is always out of the door at lunchtimes.

*Top beauty salon- Beauty Oasis Spa, Locking Road.

This is a small but lovely beauty salon. The Beauty Oasis Signature facial, which combines a hand and back massage is one of my favourites along with the luxury pedicure. Also I would recommend the pampering treatment for pregnancy, it is amazing.

    1) Top Restaurant - Oak and Glass but The Cove and Seven Bistro are close behind!
    2) Top Bar - Ammos too! But I do like Bonds
    3) Night Club - has to be Seven (not much else)
    4) Top Cafe - Loves9...live music, cosy sofa's and book exchange & kid friendly!
    5) Top Attraction - The seafront in general
    6) Top Kids - Puxton!
    7) Top Shop - Cecil Walker - menswear yes but a great boutique, great owner and a little gem!
    8) Top Curry - Hussains by a mile
    9) Fish and Chips - Papa's for sure!
    10) Best Spa - The Barn in Rooksbridge AWESOME

    Loving the website x
