TODAY is the day where voters can make a stand by choosing their political candidate to serve Weston-super-Mare.

Current Weston MP Mr Penrose with David Heathcoat-Amory
Polling stations opened at 7am this morning across the town and they will remain open until 10pm tonight.
A count will then take place at the Winter Gardens.
At present to Weston seat is held by conservative MP John Penrose but six other people are hoping to win your vote.
Mike Bell is standing for the Liberal Democrats. He is a former councillor for North Somerset Council and lives in Weston with his wife and son.
David Bradley is the Labour candidate. The 27-year-old insurance advisor lives in Bristol.
John Peverelle, English Democrats, aged 75, was born in Weston and worked n Africa for many years.
Steve Satch, Independent, 50, is a publican in the resort. He attended Worle School in the town.
Paul Spencer, UK Independence Party, was born in Weston and set up a financial services company.
Peryn Parsons, British National Party, a grandfather of 17, has lived in Weston since 2006.
