Weston-super-Mare Archaeological and Natural History Society is hosting an event at North Somerset Museum on Saturday 1 August.

An expert will be on hand in the museum courtyard from 10.30am to 3pm to identify finds that visitors bring along.  Visitors will also be able to handle artefacts from the museum's collection.

At 2pm there will be a talk about Worlebury Iron Age Hillfort by museum researcher Chris Richards.

The doors open at 10am with tours of the gallery, displays by groups and a chance to meet the museum's archaeology curator and talk about local sites.

All the activities are free although the usual museum admission charge will apply.
