Weston-super-Mare coach company Bakers Dolphin is supporting an exciting night of music and dance to raise money for Help for Heroes, a charity set up to support members of the armed forces.
Bakers Dolphin have printed the tickets and programmes from the headquarters in Locking Road, Weston and donated £1,000 to ensure the event will be a success and raise the maximum amount for the charity.
The concert on St Georges Day, 23 April 2010 at The Scotch Horn Leisure Centre, Nailsea will include The Bristol Male Voice Choir, the largest male voice choir in the West Country and dancers led by Michelle Bedford, from Jazz-on-Tap, a local dance group that run classes and perform across the South West.
Iris Clutterbuck, the organiser of the event said: “It promises to be a fun night.
If it wasn’t for all the people who have offered to help we wouldn’t be able to put on this concert.
“Bakers Dolphin has been great by making sure that all the tickets and programmes are printed, and the donation of £1,000 is just amazing!
“These dear boys, and some are just boys, who are returning home with the loss of a limb, sight, hearing and mentally traumatised, need our help and support, which is why Help for Heroes is such a worth while charity.”
Amanda Harrington, sales and marketing manager at Bakers Dolphin said: “Mrs Clutterbuck has been a customer of ours for over 20 years so we were
more than happy to help her when asked.
“The Help for Heroes charity is a great cause and we know that the money raised at the event will make a big difference.”
Tickets for the concert are £10 all of which will go towards reaching the target of £3, 000 for the charity.
