WESTON-super-Mare has lost out in a battle to be twinned with Walt Disney World in Florida.

Walt Disney World was searching for a UK town, city or village to become its twin town and invited people to enter a competition.
Entrants were asked to submit a video of no longer than two minutes or photo along with a written explanation or no more than 25 words outlining why their town should be twinned.
Jason Smith, 39, entered Weston using an image of the Grand Pier and Weston beach before the devastating fire last July.
It was taken from his large collection accumulated over 25 years of photography.
After making the final shortlist of 25, the seaside resort was pipped to the post by Swindon.
Rebecca Warren of Swindon, will now fly to Florida with her family to unveil a plaque at Walt Disney World.
A similar sign will also be displayed in Swindon.
A special exhibition on Swindon will also run next year at Disney's Epcot park.

I don't think so, but I'm not sure what Weston-super-Mare would have got out of being twinned with Disney World in Florida.
