grit shortage

I am sure i speak for many regards the coronation, bournville, and oldmixon estates where no gritting has been done.

My concern for the many elderly in paticular, no buses and in cases shops out of supplies because of difficulties getting to off town areas.

Surely its the council's responsibility to look after everyone not select.

Its the first time in decades we have had such a freeze and you have the feeling it will now occur more frequent.

I would like to appeal to the council to try and grit all these areas that have been not gritted so its possible for people to use buses and get to the shops. With so much cut off from these areas throuhg lack of grit is of real concern and i hope it can be addressed for similar future circumstances.
