    Long Serving Weston Lifeboat Crew member Richard Spindler was presented with the Prestigious "Borough Shield" by Weston Mayor Councillor Philip Judd at the Annual Mayors Charity Ball held at the Winter Gardens Pavilion on Saturday 12th March 2011. The award was made in recognition of Richards Long Service with the RNLI at Weston Lifeboat Station and also his other Community Work including the Scout Movement in the town.

    A number of Richards colleagues and their ladies from Weston RNLI joined him and his wife Sue at the Ball to help celebrate the award.
