ASSISTANT manager Jon Haile is delighted with Weston-super-Mare’s results since he and boss Craig Laird took over in the summer.
Laird’s men head to Dartford tomorrow sitting in 11th place in Blue Square Bet South after two wins, two draws and two defeats.
“Generally. we are really pleased with the start when you consider that when Craig and I took over, we only kept four players from last season – and three of those were promoted from the youth team.
“In a short space of time, we have had to recruit and build a squad of players who are capable of playing in the system and style of play we believe will get us results this season.
“We have set the bar high and we cannot afford to go beneath that between now and the rest of the season.
“The fans are enjoying our style of football and everyone has a smile on their face at the club, but we have to keep picking up points on our travels and winning our home games.”
